Safety

Sunshine State Electric of Florida, Inc. believes that safety begins at the top of any organization. The management’s involvement in the safety program is critical to success of this program. Our safety committee is made up of upper management, office personnel and field employees. Meeting once monthly to discuss what is working and what needs improvement each panel member assists with their useful opinions on what changes need to be made to create a safer working environment for our field employees. Each and every week a tool box talk is held on each project with all employees in attendance. Specific policies and procedures are discussed and each employee has a forum to voice their opinion and offer additional support to the safety committee. Every employee signs off on his or her attendance and a record of this meeting is kept on the project until completion.

Topics of discussion range from climbing ladders, working from lifts, electrical safety to basic lifting procedures. We strive to create a working environment that is both safe and enjoyable.
